Construction

• Conductor:
  
  Annealed Plain Copper or Aluminium, compacted round stranded conductors to carry current and withstand pulling stresses during cable laying.
  
• Inner Semi-Conducting Layer:
  Extruded semi-conducting screen over conductor to smooth the electric field.
• Insulation:
  
  XLPE (Cross-Linked Polyethylene) insulation for rated voltage and to withstand lightning, switching overvoltage, and electrical stress.
  
• Core Semi-Conducting Layer:
  Extruded semi-conducting screen over insulation, tightly bonded to maintain dielectric integrity.
• Insulation Screen:
  
  Firmly bonded insulation screen made of semi-conducting compound complying with IEC 60502-2.
  

• Armouring:
  
  Round Aluminium Wire Armour for single core cables; Round Galvanized Steel Wire Armour for three core cables, applied over inner sheath. Complies with IEC 60502-2.
  
• Outer Sheath:
  
  Extruded PVC or LSZH as per requirement. Protects metallic screen from corrosion, reduces fire propagation, and provides mechanical protection. Complies with IEC 60502-2.
  
• Operating Temperature:
  
  -15°C (Min, XLPE), 90°C (Max continuous), 250°C (Short circuit, 5s)
  
• Bending Radius:
  
  Single Core Armoured: 20D
  Three Core Armoured: 12D
